WHAT IS A REPORTING ANALYST?

Our awesome client in Australia is looking for a new Reporting Analyst to join their growing team.

The Reporting Analysts will design and develop reports, analyses and insights to drive key business decisions and support improved business performance. They will provide a supportive link between raw data and users who need to make key business decisions. Data extraction, analysis and transformation are key job responsibilities.

The scope of the role will focus on Retail sales and margin performance across Merchandise, Stores, Categories and Departments. It will also involve Finance reporting as well as supporting project delivery. The role will be actively involved in improving our retail reporting and forms part of the business reporting suite servicing Operations, Finance, and Merchandise. With previous experience in reporting, candidates should have the ability to share knowledge and expertise as well as being open to continuous learning.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to create clear and professional reports, procedures and other documentation; simplifying the complex for an easy end user experience

  • High degree of accuracy with data management and analytical assessment

  • An open and flexible mindset showing adaptability with a self-starter attitude and initiative

  • Proven ability to work well in teams, as well as the ability to function autonomously

  • Have an organised and methodical nature with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Be an analytical thinker with a genuine interest in solving business problems including the ability to conceptualise outcomes and relationships between different sets of numbers

  • Knowledge or experience with SAP, SAP BI, and Excel where advanced proficiency is an advantage.

- ONSITE for the first 6 months | HYBRID afterwards (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

- Uptown, BGC

- Mondays to Fridays | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; M-F
