Engineering Supervisor-SUPER METRO CALBAYOG

1.Ensures efficient and continuous business operating plan and performance on all Engineering managed systems.

2.Conducts regular inspections of the store's facilities for the purpose of identifying necessary repairs, replacements and/or renovations.

3.Inspects completed outsourced works for compliance to specifications and standards. Signs work certifications to facilitate billings.

4.Assists in troubleshooting major equipment breakdowns and provides technical guidance to subordinates.

5.Facilitates the processing of warranty claims in the event of premature failure of equipment.

7.Fire Marshall in the ERT organization

8.Examine and determine if the building is safe enough to be reoccupied after an earthquake in coordination with the Safety Officer

9.Prepares department budget and administers approved one. Monitors actual expenditures in order to meet the department financial objective.

10.Controls purchase requisitions of parts, tools, materials and outsourced labor to assure it is within the approved budget.

1. Monitors and analyzes consumption of utilities like power, water and diesel fuel, and establish energy conservation program, benchmarking on the best practices by format.

12.Evaluates report on inventories of parts and supplies to ensure adequate and cost effective inventory.

13.Proposes cost savings alternatives to Corporate Engineering and Store Operations and implements the approved one.

14.Signing authority in the Hot Work Permit

1. Ensures mandates of environment are followed:

a.Toxic and Hazardous waste disposal such as busted fluorescent lamps, used batteries and capacitors, Used Oil, paints, solvent and thinners.

b.Clean air facility.

c.Clean water effluent facility.

d.Ecological Solid Waste Management.

e.Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)

16.Ensure compliance with the requirements of PD 1586. RA 6969, RA 8749, RA 9003, RA 9275, their respective implementing rules and regulations (IRRs), and other pertinent rules and regulations, together with the Store Manager

17.Ensure the proper performance, operation, and maintenance of environmental management facilities or systems of the Store

18.Monitor compliance to the requirements specified in the Environmental Compliance Certificate and the commitments stipulated in the Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans or Environmental Performance Report and Management Plans, and report the same in the Compliance Monitoring Report {CMR);

19.Monitor activities pertaining to the installation or construction of pollution source and control facilities to ensure compliance with the National Emission Standards for Source Specific Air Pollutants and National Ambient Air Quality Standards and report monitoring results to DENR as part of the Self-Monitoring Report (SMR);

20.Monitor activities pertaining to the operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities to ensure compliance with the Effluent Standards and report monitoring results to DENR as part of the SMR;

21.Promptly submit CMRs and SMRs, duly accomplished and signed by the Pollution Control Officer, approved and certified correct by the Store Manager, and notarized;

1. Report in writing within twenty-four (24) hours from the occurrence of any of the following environmental incident to the concerned EMB Regional Office, as the case may be:

•Breakdown of any pollution source and/or control facility or monitoring instruments or

•Releases (e.g. leaks. spills, etc.) of chemicals or hazardous wastes (listed in Annex I of this Order as well as the Priority List of Substances as published by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry of the Department of Health & Human Services of the United States of America) to environmental media.

23.Report in writing within twenty-four (24) hours from securing of the results of laboratory analysis or from online monitoring instruments any exceedance to effluent and/or emission standards;

24.Supervise the proper operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities of the Store

25.Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Programs for utility systems, equipment, and building maintenance

26.Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Member and Quality Management
