Baybay Leyte, Philippines Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. Full time ₱250,000 - ₱500,000 per year

1.Ensures completeness of merchandise display at all times.

2.Reviews and analyzes sales data of the department per merchandise category and recommends actions to immediate superior to improve sales & margin.

3.Conducts periodic canvassing with competitors to benchmark internal availability and pricing of goods.

4.Establishes sales quota to all sales personnel.

5.Monitors implementation of promotional programs.

6.Determines manpower requirements/schedule of the department in coordination with the Team

7.Attends promptly to customer concerns/complaints.

8.Ensures facilities/ equipment in the department such as, lightings, air-conditioning, chillers and the like are operational and in good condition.

9.Recommends strategies/ programs to immediate superior to improve service and quality.

10.Oversees and maintains a high standard of housekeeping and orderliness in the department

11.Manages department inventories by monitoring sales reports. Keeps inventories at a level to minimize out-of-stocks and overstocks while ensuring freshness of merchandise.

12.Performs sales forecasts based on monthly sales and projected promotional programs as basis for keeping buffer stocks.

13.Evaluates Stock Transfers.

14.Recommends clearance strategies to expiring, slow-moving and non-moving items.

15.Evaluates Bad Orders/ damaged items for Return to Vendor (RTV) processing.

16.Prepares a Summary of Disposal verified by the Supermarket Manager, noted by the Merchandiser/ and approved by the Store Manager for spoiled/ unsold items for disposal.

17.Ensures the involvement of all personnel to company initiated programs and other store initiatives.

18.Conducts mentoring and hands on training to new supervisors. Likewise, recommends developmental programs to personnel based on skill/ job deficiencies.

19.Manages performance and productivity of the division. Handles performance evaluation, renewal of contracts of 3rd party promodisers and may recommend disciplinary actions.

20.Recognizes good performance, coaches subordinates for optimal performance and corrects performance below par.

21.Identifies and mentors internal potential employees for supervisory positions.

22.Analyzes efficiency and effectiveness of existing department systems and procedures. Recommends improvements to control labor costs, reduce losses due to damages, spoiled products, shrinkage and the like.

23.Monitors status of supermarket tenants and rentable space like: end cap, gondolas in coordination with the Merchandising Department. Likewise ensuring compliance of all concerned to leasing requirements/standards.

24.Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.

25.Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by superiors.
