Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Generative AI & Backend Systems

Location: Onsite/Hybrid

Type: Full-time

About the Role: We're seeking Senior Software Engineers with a strong background in Backend Engineering and hands-on experience working with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies. In this role, you'll design, build, and scale AI-powered applications and infrastructure, collaborating across teams to bring cutting-edge solutions to production.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems to support GenAI-powered applications.
  • Integrate large language models (LLMs) and other generative models into production services.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams to define system architecture and APIs.
  • Optimize performance and reliability of AI services in real-time environments.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in backend services handling sensitive data or model outputs.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging GenAI technologies and frameworks, evaluating and incorporating them as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering, with deep knowledge of modern server-side languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, ).
  • Experience integrating or working with generative AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Anthropic, open-source LLMs).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
  • Strong grasp of software engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, monitoring, version control).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience fine-tuning or deploying LLMs in production.
  • Contributions to open-source GenAI tools or libraries.
  • Background in NLP, MLOps, or related AI infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
