Qualifications and Requirements:
o Role 1: Must have at least 1 year of Risk Adjustment (RA) coding experience.
o Role 2: Should have at least 2 years of RA coding experience, or a combination of 1 year RA coding and 2 years other medical coding work.
Skill Requirement Overview
• Primary Skill: AI-Risk Coding / Medical Coder
o Onsite Location: Uptown 2 / Gateway
• Shift Schedule:
o Regular: 1PM–10PM or 8PM–5AM
o Training: 7AM–4PM
• Target Start Date: Mid-January 2026
AI-Risk Coding Associate Responsibilities:
• Assign diagnosis codes per ICD-10-CM Guidelines for CMS-HCC conditions.
• Conduct thorough chart reviews using computer-assisted coding tools.
• Apply in-depth coding principles to assign valid diagnosis codes supported by medical records.
• Demonstrate understanding of acceptable medical record documentation for CMS-HCCs.
• Exhibit advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Escalate issues appropriately to Team Lead/Operations Manager or Coding SME.
