About the Role

We're looking for experienced Medical Coders to join our growing team. In this role, you'll review medical records, ensure accurate diagnosis coding, and contribute to the integrity of our risk adjustment programs. You'll work in a collaborative, hybrid environment with opportunities to enhance your coding expertise.


Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately assign diagnosis codes in accordance with ICD-10-CM and CMS-HCC guidelines.
  • Perform comprehensive chart reviews utilizing computer-assisted coding tools.
  • Apply advanced coding principles to ensure each diagnosis is fully supported by medical documentation.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of compliant documentation standards for CMS-HCCs.
  • Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Identify and escalate any coding or documentation issues to the Team Lead, Operations Manager, or Coding SME as appropriate.

Qualifications
  • Role 1: Minimum 1 year of experience in Risk Adjustment (RA) coding.
  • Role 2: Minimum 2 years of RA coding experience, or 1 year in RA coding plus 2 years in other medical coding areas.
