The Warehouse Supervisor holds a critical role in overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and distribution of inventory, and supporting departmental initiatives through efficient workflow managements and process improvements.

Job Description:

  • Ensure all stocks are under control is managed in a efficient manner (no stock out and over stocks)
  • Report and investigates stocks out / overstock.
  • Ensure that all customers'/outlets' requested stocks are delivered.
  • Manage receipt of goods and ensure quality checks of loads into the warehouse are carried out.
  • Manages goods /stocks into storage area and in appropriate locations.
  • Supervise Quality control of products received.
  • Manage the competent assembling of different types of orders for dispatch with complete product familiarization.
  • Conducts random checking of high value goods and high value equipment; and conducts spot inventory.
  • Manage and aware of sequencing procedures for the dispatching of loads.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in warehouse operation, inventory management, or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team, including training, scheduling, and performance, monitoring.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
