POSITION SUMMARY

Oversees the Research and Development team in the creation of new products, evaluation of alternative raw materials, and the development of safe and high-quality innovations. Spearheads the critical and technical concerns and special projects assigned by the management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Supervises the innovative and initiative project of the team.
  2. Carries out various specialized tasks related to R&D, including product innovation, recipe formulation, and product application testing.
  3. Manages the day-to-day operations of the R&D team, ensuring compliance with proper laboratory procedures and standards.
  4. Responsible for the creation of policies and implementation of formula reformulation, cost reduction and re-works for production.
  5. Evaluates technical reports, findings, and relevant work procedures and instructions.
  6. Verifies the accuracy and reliability of data in experimental reports prior to making recommendations and drawing conclusions.
  7. Develops and delivers technical presentations for clients and industry events.
  8. Responsible for providing technical assistance and conducting technical presentations to all clients.
  9. Conducts internal audits and supports third-party quality assessments for certifications and accreditations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related course
  • More than 10 years of related work experience in the food industry is ideal
  • With at least five (5) years in a managerial / leadership position is preferred
