About the role

As the Production Line Leader at Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the production line. This full-time, on-site position in Lipa City, Batangas, will see you lead and supervise a team of production workers to ensure high-quality output and optimised productivity.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers on the line to meet daily and weekly targets
  2. Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and quality
  3. Provide hands-on support and guidance to the team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and skills to perform their duties
  4. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
  5. Analyse production data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for optimisation
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement process improvements
  7. Provide feedback and recommendations to management on team performance and development needs

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 1 year experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address production challenges
  4. Proficient in interpreting and analysing production data to drive continuous improvement
  5. Thorough understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards
  6. Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  7. Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering or Operations Management, is preferred
