About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Line Leader to join our team at Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc' in Lipa City, Batangas. This is a full-time position that will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production line and ensuring the efficient and safe manufacture of our automotive components.

What you'll be doing

  1. Lead and manage a team of production line workers to meet daily output targets and quality standards
  2. Oversee the smooth running of the production line, including coordinating workflow, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements
  3. Monitor production data and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and productivity
  4. Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
  5. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to production line staff to develop their skills and capabilities
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to resolve any production-related challenges
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation as required

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of at least 1 year experience in a production line leadership preferably within the manufacturing or automotive industry
  2. Strong technical knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality control methods
  3. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
  4. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of production workers
  5. Proficient in data analysis and using production management software
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
  7. Commitment to upholding health, safety, and environmental standards
