Bookkeeper for Australian Business | Work From Home | Philippines-Based Only | AEST Time Zone | Start ASAPAbout the Role

Work directly with a stable and growing network of Australian healthcare practices.

Opportunity for a FULL TIME detail-oriented Bookkeeper with experience in Australian bookkeeping and tax law.

If you're passionate about keeping clean books, love using Xero, and have solid experience working with Australian businesses, this could be the perfect fit.

You'll be supporting businesses across Australia, in all their bookkeeping requirements.

What You'll Do

Manage bookkeeping for Australian businesses. Take charge of:

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable & Supplier bills
  • Payroll Processing
  • Bank Reconciliations & Sales Invoices
  • Review & Code GST & Business Expenses
  • Conduct Regular Balance Sheet Reviews
  • Prepare BAS & IAS ready for lodgement
  • Maintain accurate, organised client files
  • Ensure compliance with Australian bookkeeping standards
  • Provide proactive communication and bookkeeping support to clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (must provide evidence)
  • Minimum 3 years of Australian bookkeeping experience
  • Xero Certified (must provide evidence)
  • High attention to detail and commitment to deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Must be registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenue
  • Must have your own laptop/computer and reliable internet with a secure private workspace
  • Must have recent Philippine National Police Clearance (PNP), AND National Bureau Investigation (NBI) Checks, or be willing to get
  • Must provide references from most recent employer/s
  • Experience with healthcare related businesses is desirable but not essential
