Position Summary:

We're looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team This is a senior-level position where you'll be responsible for managing the books of multiple clients across various industries. If you're a Xero pro with a proactive mindset and a passion for accuracy, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-function bookkeeping across multiple clients
  • Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Payroll processing and compliance
  • Bank reconciliations and data entry
  • Financial reporting and cash flow tracking
  • BAS and tax lodgements
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Data entry
  • Liaising with clients and supporting them with day-to-day finance-related queries

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar
  • CPA or certification in Xero or bookkeeping/accounting
  • Proven experience as a full-function Bookkeeper (3+ years preferred)
  • Extensive expertise in Xero software is a must
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working in an agency or with multiple clients
  • Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax compliance

Other requirements:

  • Must have a stable primary internet connection (minimum 50-100MBps) and a backup connection
  • Able to work in case of power outages continuously (has backup power source/ample power bank)
  • Must have their own equipment.
