Key duties include managing recruitment, administering benefits, maintaining personnel records, supporting employee development, ensuring workplace safety, and resolving workplace issues.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for various roles.
- Onboarding new hires by guiding them through the complexities of benefits and compensation.
- Developing and approving job descriptions and advertisements.
Employee Relations & Development:
Developing programs to enhance employee relations and promote diversity and inclusion.
- Organizing training and development activities to improve employee performance.
- Managing performance, conducting performance appraisals, and providing coaching.
- Handling and resolving employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions.
Compensation & Benefits:
Ensuring employees receive accurate and timely paychecks.
- Administering employee benefits, such as health insurance and housing allowances.
- Negotiating salaries with potential employees and administering performance-related incentives.
Compliance & Policy:
Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Developing, updating, and implementing company policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential personnel records.
Workplace Safety & Health:
Promoting health and safety within the workplace.
- Ensuring the organization provides a safe and healthy working environment.
Required Skills & Qualities
- Communication:
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with employees and management.
- Organization:
Excellent organizational skills are needed to manage various HR processes and maintain records.
- Problem-Solving:
The ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions is crucial for resolving workplace conflicts.
- Confidentiality:
Must be able to handle and maintain confidential employee information with discretion.
- Knowledge of HR Laws:
A strong understanding of employment law is necessary for ensuring compliance.
QUALIFICATION:
- 3 to 5 years experienced as Human Resource Officer
- preferably graduate of Psychology or other related field
- willing to be assigned in Calatagan Project (Construction Site)
