Job Overview: Merchandising Manager (Retail)

The Merchandising Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and executing merchandising strategies that drive sales, improve product visibility, and enhance the overall customer experience in retail stores. This role oversees product assortment, pricing, promotions, and inventory management while ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives. The Merchandising Manager works closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Store Operations to maximize profitability and ensure effective product placement across all retail locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to optimize sales performance and product turnover.
  • Manage product assortment, pricing, and promotional planning based on market trends and customer demand.
  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize overstock or stockouts.
  • Coordinate with Store Operations to ensure proper product displays and adherence to visual merchandising standards.
  • Analyze sales data and performance reports to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams on campaigns, launches, and in-store promotions.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to maintain competitiveness.
  • Lead and guide merchandising teams to ensure consistent execution across stores.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, brand guidelines, and retail standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in retail merchandising, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in sales forecasting and inventory planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php45, Php55,000.00 per month
