  • Inspects raw materials and packaging materials upon delivery to ensure that specifications are met and/or free from defective or sub-standard materials before turn over to warehouse
  • Inspect in process materials during manufacturing operations to evaluate each process/step and determine reasons for defects.
  • Checks worker's personal hygiene before start of production
  • Evaluates materials for tip in for acceptability and reevaluate finished product with tip in
  • Monitors in line process to ensure that all workers are observing the correct procedure and not deviating from the process.
  • Checks machines and equipment for cleanliness and condition prior to use or every change of product
  • Conducts sensory evaluation of finished goods and in process materials to check conformance to specifications.
  • Checks if workers are properly observing proper sanitation and hygiene in the production site.
  • Checks and calibrates weighing scales of production to ensure that it is accurate and properly working.
  • Inspects cleanliness and condition of finished products prior to loading to delivery vehicle
  • Prepares samples and materials for R&D use.
  • Inspects delivery vehicle and delivery personnel for GMP compliance prior to receiving of incoming materials or dispatch of delivery
  • Prepares polypropylene sack for production use and checks if products are properly coded and labeled as required.
  • Reviews daily pest control monitoring and coordinates with the third party pest control provider for the weekly roving and monthly treatment of pests
  • Monitors production areas to ensure compliance with established GMP policies and food safety programs.
  • Participates in investigations of quality related issues both internally and externally (product complaints)
  • Participates in supplier audits
  • Maintains cleanliness of the laboratory and laboratory equipment.
  • Records and maintains assigned quality related documentation forms and reports.
  • Performs other related tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of BS Food Technology or any science related courses
  • With 1-3 years experience in food manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge in HACCP principles and practices
  • Willing to be assigned in Lipa, Batangas
