Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves conducting inspections, tests, and audits while documenting results and coordinating corrective actions. The Quality Assurance Specialist works closely with production, engineering, and management teams to identify quality issues, recommend improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Testing

  • Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, ISO requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Identify defects, variances, or non-conformities and coordinate corrective/preventive actions.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and audit documentation.
  • Assist in preparing reports and summaries for management review.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.

Process & Compliance Management

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
  • Train employees on quality standards, inspection procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, workplace safety, and environmental compliance standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist, Inspector, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, standards, and tools.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willing to be assigned full-time in Lipa, Batangas.
