About the role

Sonpac Marketing is seeking an Accounting Officer to join our thriving team in South Caloocan Metro Manila. This full-time role will provide crucial support to our accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial records and reporting. As a key member of our finance department, you will play an integral part in maintaining the financial health and success of our growing company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform daily bookkeeping tasks
  2. Assist with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other analytical reports
  3. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  4. Maintain and update financial records and databases
  5. Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations
  7. Work with external accounting team.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably in a small to medium-sized business
  2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  3. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  5. Strong organisational and time management skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills
