Job Summary

The Accounting Officer is responsible for handling accounts payable transactions, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and supporting compliance with BIR reporting requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and regulatory agencies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and expense reports.
  • Match purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices and manage payment schedules.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor billing issues.
  • Maintain and update vendor records, including new vendor setup.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist the Accounting Head in preparing BIR reports and compliance requirements (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Provide audit support and prepare financial documentation as required.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
