About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team at MOF Company (Subic), Inc. in Pasay City, Metro Manila. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic decision-making. What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and oversee the full range of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
  2. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other reports to support management decision-making
  3. Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard the company's assets
  4. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements
  5. Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to the management team
  6. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent)
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the logistics industry
  3. Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  5. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing accounting teams
  6. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards in the Philippines
  7. Adaptable to change and committed to continuous learning and improvement
