I. Position Summary
The Human Resources Associate provides essential support to the HR Department by handling recruitment and talent sourcing activities, employee movements, and general HR administrative functions. The role ensures smooth coordination of end-to-end recruitment processes, assists in employee lifecycle transactions, and supports timekeeping and HR operations as needed.
This position is ideal for someone with foundational HR experience who is eager to grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
II. Duties and Responsibilities
A. Recruitment and Talent Sourcing (Primary Focus)
- Manage job postings on online platforms and internal boards.
- Source and screen applicants based on job qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interviews and assessments with candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct initial HR interviews and provide recommendations for next steps.
- Assist in preparing job offers and pre-employment requirements.
- Support onboarding and new hire orientation activities.
- Build and maintain a database of active and passive candidates for future hiring needs.
B. Employee Movement and HR Operations
- Process and document employee movements (e.g., transfers, promotions, end of contract).
- Maintain accurate employee records, 201 files, and HR trackers.
- Support compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Coordinate with other departments on employee requests and documentation.
- Assist in the administration of HR programs such as training, wellness, or engagement.
C. Timekeeping and Attendance Support (seasonal support)
- Monitor daily attendance and assist in validating time records.
- Coordinate with payroll and timekeeping personnel for data accuracy.
- Support employees in resolving attendance and leave-related concerns.
D. Administrative and General HR Support
- Prepare HR-related reports, memos, and correspondence.
- Support HR Head in projects and ad hoc requirements.
- Assist in maintaining HR systems, trackers, and documentation.
III. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in HR, preferably in recruitment or generalist roles. (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Knowledge of recruitment platforms, interview processes, and basic labor standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Google Suite.
- Strong communication (verbal & written), organization, and follow-through skills.
- Service-oriented, detail-focused, and able to maintain confidentiality.
IV. Working Conditions
- Full-time, office-based arrangement.
- May occasionally assist in offsite hiring events or HR activities.
- Regular coordination with Distribution Product Group and department heads.
