As a CAD Designer, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team. You will be responsible for creating innovative designs using Autodesk Inventor CAD software and producing detailed sales drawings, including 3D renders. This role offers room for growth as your experience expands, with opportunities to conduct site visits and create comprehensive manufacturing drawings.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize Autodesk Inventor CAD software to design Mezzanine floors.
  • Produce sales drawings with detailed 3D renders.
  • Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to create customized solutions for clients.
  • Assist in site visits and measurements.
  • Develop full-detail manufacturing drawings as you gain experience.

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who:

  • Qualifications: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma, OR at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams accurately.
  • Solid understanding of NSW Service Rules and Australian Wiring Standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong computer skills.
  • Basic knowledge of switchgear components.
  • Strong communication skills - must be able to clearly articulate technical viewpoints, especially when liaising with supply authorities and engineers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks under high pressure.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
