As a Mechanical Engineer/Design professional in our wastewater company, you will play a vital role in the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment used in wastewater treatment processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our wastewater facilities, contributing to environmental sustainability and public health.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop mechanical systems, components, and equipment for wastewater treatment processes. This includes pumps, piping systems, valves, and mechanical conveyors.

  2. Engineering Calculations: Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and modeling to optimize mechanical systems for wastewater treatment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  3. Material Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate materials for construction and maintenance, considering factors such as chemical resistance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

  4. Equipment Specifications: Create detailed equipment specifications and work closely with suppliers and vendors to source and procure mechanical components.

  5. CAD Design: Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create and modify mechanical drawings, schematics, and layouts for system installations and upgrades.

  6. Maintenance Support: Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and maintenance activities related to mechanical systems within wastewater treatment facilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Registered Mechanical Engineer

  • Previous experience in mechanical design and engineering, particularly in the wastewater or water treatment industry, is a significant advantage.

  • Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
