Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical abilities and expertise in financial management, bookkeeping, and regulatory compliance. The Accountant oversees day-to-day financial operations, prepares financial statements, monitors budgets, and supports audits. Strong organizational skills, integrity, and financial acumen are essential to maintain the company's fiscal health and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and account reconciliations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, financial forecasts, and cost analyses.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and submit reports to management.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, payments, billing, and collections while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing required documentation and reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Payroll Assistance: Support payroll preparation and verification, ensuring accuracy of employee compensation and deductions.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct analyses to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for cost optimization.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • Experience: 2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, auditing, or related roles.
  • Licensing: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) — Required. (Applicant must hold a valid PRC CPA license.)
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle), MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
  • Business Skills: Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, financial regulations, and budget management.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
