About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our Accounting Department. The role will handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, supporting daily accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and monitor invoices, payments, and reimbursements (AP)
  • Prepare billing statements, collections, and payment follow-ups (AR)
  • Maintain and reconcile supplier and customer accounts
  • Encode transactions and assist in month-end closing activities
  • Verify financial data accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist in preparing accounting schedules and reports
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding payment and billing concerns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounting or related functions (AP/AR experience preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Excel and with SAP Business One Experience
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift (8am - 5pm)
  • Monday to Friday
