The Accounting Assistant (Accounts Receivable and Collections) is responsible for overseeing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring the accurate and timely issuance of invoices, monitoring customer accounts, and executing effective collection activities. The role involves maintaining precise financial records, reconciling accounts, and resolving billing or payment discrepancies in accordance with established company policies and accounting standards. The incumbent will also coordinate with clients and internal departments to ensure proper payment application and support overall cash flow management. A high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and analytical ability is required to perform effectively in this role.

Qualifications

  • With a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus but not required.
  • With prior experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, and collections, preferably in the collections industry or a related field.
  • Without prior experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, especially with internship experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
  • Experience with billing and collections processes is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, billing procedures, and collections practices.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate level).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with clients and internal teams.
  • Willing to be assigned in Tanguile St., Brgy. Fortune, Marikina City.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
