Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the full spectrum of financial and cost accounting functions, ensuring the integrity of financial data, and delivering timely financial reports and insights to support management decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial reports and regulatory reports.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and effective accounting systems to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Handle the full spectrum of financial and cost accounting duties including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and tax compliance.
  • Manage fund allocation and tax planning activities.
  • Examine, investigate, and resolve discrepancies and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements, cash flow reports, and other management reports for submission to headquarters.
  • Ensure intercompany cost allocations comply with management agreements.
  • Set up and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early detection of cost overruns.
  • Perform cash flow forecasting and budgeting activities; collaborate closely with operations and sales teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial reporting and tax regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or BS Internal Audit.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or a related financial role.
  • Must have experience handling accounting system
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in reviewing and preparing cash flow reports and managing bank transactions.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
  • Must be amenable to work onsite in Mandaluyong City.
  • Background or experience in a financing or fintech company is an advantage.
