Job Title: Cashier/Waitress

Position Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented Cashier/Waitress to join our team. This dual role is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and managing cash register operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Waitress:

  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Clear tables, clean dining areas, and reset for the next guests
  • Monitor guest needs throughout the dining experience

As a Cashier:

  • Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
  • Operate POS system and issue receipts or change due to customers
  • Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding pricing, specials, or store policies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience as a waitress or cashier is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
