Job description

The company is growing its business and is seeking a Safety Officer that can immediately add value to the organization. We are looking for an accountable Safety Officer to be responsible for all Safety Policies and Procedures concerns in the projects involve.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In-charge with the implementation of Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Ensures that all works comply with health and safety measures
  • Inspects and monitors the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment
  • Conducts toolbox meetings and site orientation
  • Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses
  • Prepares periodic safety reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 1-2 years of work experience in the same position
  • Completed Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) training from Dole or other accredited training agency
  • Computer proficient
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be flexible when it comes to location, must be willing to work in Cavite
  • With driver's license is a plus.
  • Able to multi task and meet strict deadlines
