The Safety Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing the company's occupational safety and health (OSH) policies and programs across all construction sites of FD Laxina Construction Services and Trading Corp. This role ensures compliance with DOLE standards, conducts regular site inspections, identifies hazards, and recommends corrective measures. The Safety Officer 2 also leads safety trainings, incident investigations, and supports the overall promotion of a safe working environment for all employees, subcontractors, and site visitors.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in Occupational Health and Safety is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer (as required for SO2 designation under DOLE guidelines).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Completion of DOLE-accredited 40-hour BOSH for SO2 training is required. Additional certifications (COSH, First Aid, Emergency Response) are an advantage.
  • Willing to be assigned at Angeles City.
