DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervises engineering staff for attendance at work and quality of job performance.
  • Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within the hotel rooms and public areas.
  • Immediate response to equipment breakdowns.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and preparation of Engineering/Technical Reports.
  • Responsible for the completeness of room inventories.
  • Check for new maintenance request e.g.: OOO- Out of Service and OOO0 Out of Order from OPERA and update remarks once the task is completed.
  • Strict monitoring of all Engineering supplies, tools and inventories.
  • Understand and operate electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and water systems.
  • Submission of Engineering Logs daily.
  • Monitors and controls engineering supplies, tools and equipment
  • Assist the Engineering Manager in Strategic Planning and Annual Opez and Capex Budget preparation.
  • Monitors and updates status of Out of Order and Out of Service rooms to ensure availability of saleable rooms,
  • Participates in Emergency Response and Security and Safety protocols.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Licensed Mechanical/Electrical Engineer
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as Duty/Building Engineer
  • Proven experience in building maintenance
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
