Job Summary

PMO Building Engineer is responsible for overseeing the technical and engineering aspects of construction projects under the Project Management Office. This role ensures that all project plans, designs, and implementations meet local building codes, quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the PMO in planning, executing, and monitoring construction and fit-out projects.
  • Review architectural, structural, and MEP plans and ensure compliance with building codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure quality and safety compliance.
  • Prepare and update project reports, including progress tracking, risk analysis, and variance reports.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractors by providing technical evaluation.
  • Conduct site inspections and punch listing during and after project implementation.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Address any engineering issues or project delays in coordination with the PMO.
  • Perform technical evaluations and site validation for upcoming projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Licensed Civil Engineer or Architect (PRC) preferred
  • At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in construction, project management, or facilities engineering
  • Familiarity with Philippine building codes and local government permit processes
  • Proficient in project management tools (AutoCAD, MS Office)
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Able to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php37, Php45,000.00 per month
