Job Title: Credit Officer

JOB SUMMARY

The Credit Officer will be responsible for verification and evaluation of loan applications. The position will also assist the Credit Team Leader and the Credit Department Head to achieve approval targets as well as good quality accounts to accomplish the company's portfolio target and low delinquency rate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

I. Functional

Pre-Screening and Review of Loan Applications

  • Conduct interviews to clients to gather financial data, personal detail, and other important information.
  • Ensure completeness of data, documents and financials submitted by the borrower.
  • Validate documents submitted to all available sources.
  • Dedupe application to core system.
  • Ensure client's name was not found in blacklist and watch list.
  • Conduct BAP and TU checking for all accounts

Credit Analysis

  • Evaluate credit worthiness of loan borrower.
  • Review borrower's credit history thru checking at company's own credit records, bank records and past credit experiences
  • Ensure credit policies and procedure are within parameters.
  • Conduct analysis of financial statements of accounts and prepare financial spreadsheet for corporate accounts.
  • Create credit recommendations for credit team leader's approval.

Risk Assessment

  • Provide mitigation factors to accounts with deviations.
  • Provide strategic inputs in the formulation/updates of credit policies and guidelines necessary to maintain a quality portfolio.

Other

  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate superior.

  • Attention to Details – Ability to focus on important details, completeness of data and compliance with credit parameters.
  • Customer Service – Ability to display customer service when attending to all internal customers queries and requests.
  • Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving – The ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
  • Effective Time Management and Business Ethics Management - The ability to maximize the workload within the working hours and still able to provide a favorable output while keeping optimism in a fast-paced work environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or any business course

Experience

  • Minimum of three years work experience as Credit Analyst / Credit Officer under Auto

Finance / Auto Loan Business.
