Sales Assistant Agent

Role Summary:

As a Specialty Sales Assistant, you are at the core of The MDB Co's business operations and activities that keep the team moving forward. Supporting the Sales team, you anticipate the needs of your team leaders and team members to help them stay focused on their projects by resolving and anticipating clients' operational/administrative issues before they arise. Navigating efficiently through a fast-paced environment, you are up to date with the latest MDB core values, sales objectives, products, and projects. In everything you do, you're a self-motivated team member who makes the company's success your number one priority.

What you'll be doing:

Assist the MDB SP Sales Team in compiling and executing general administrative tasks such as:

  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Coordinate and manage projects between retailers and account managers in a timely manner. Ex: Retailer portal maintenance, Promotion execution/messaging, sales analysis, retailer portal maintenance (stock out and ordering)
  • SALES MANAGEMENT: Serve as a lead for tasks within the sales team Ex: Price change implementation into ERP system, retailer site sweeps, new item set, Promotion tracker management, tracking metrics against goals
  • SP MARKETING: Ex: Monthly newsletters to retail partners, Monthly new item distribution to retailer decks, Product launches, Brixy marketing management, shipping and coordination of in store assets, Retailer Surveys, Customer information updates
  • SHIPPING MANAGEMENT: Serve as a liaison cross functionally between internal teams Ex: Work closely with Orders team in managing aged orders, discontinued items, sales goals, customer service via parts portals
