Selection Criteria
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing and digital platforms—especially social media, broadcasting platforms, graphic design tools, website administration, Mailchimp, EDM campaign management, research tools, surveys, and video/photo editing.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively while working collaboratively with others to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Experience coordinating both in-person and online events.
  • Willingness to be flexible, proactive, and hands-on in implementing marketing and communications strategies and plans.
  • Knowledge of content creation.
Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement a marketing and communications plan.
  • Manage and grow the organisation's website and social media presence.
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring brand consistency and integrity across all communications.
  • Develop, draft, and edit high-quality written materials including internal communications, articles, reports, web and social media content, newsletters, feature stories, press releases, presentations, and other materials for both print and digital platforms.
  • Identify and pursue media and outreach opportunities to enhance visibility and impact.
  • Build and maintain constructive working relationships with partners to ensure consistent messaging and maximise reach.
  • Develop and maintain networks that support the organisation's objectives and strategic goals.
  • Plan and execute events, workshops, webinars, and collaborative networking opportunities.
  • Oversee the development and design of the organisation's annual report.
