About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and safety-focused Installation & Commissioning Engineer to manage on-site installation, commissioning, and integration of telecom network equipment. You will ensure quality, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), and technical compliance while coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities1. Plan and Prepare Site Activities

  • Plan installation and commissioning activities including site location, documentation, tools, transportation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ensure the work area is safe and compliant: conduct E+OHS inspections and daily risk assessments.
  • Secure site access, lifting zones, PPE usage, and proper storage of materials and tools.

2. Execute Installation & Commissioning

  • Install and align equipment based on design and technical documentation.
  • Conduct power-up, testing (drive test, line of sight), and equipment validation.
  • Compile test and installation documentation, including red-marked drawings for As-Built records.
  • Perform on-site and off-site integration activities in coordination with the Network Integration Center (NIC).

3. Ensure Quality, EHS & Security Compliance

  • Enforce adherence to quality, safety, and security standards.
  • Inspect work areas and monitor site safety performance.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and suitable for tasks.
  • Report and act on safety or quality issues and stop work immediately if hazards are identified.

4. Lead and Supervise Site Teams

  • Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and supervise on-site workforce and subcontractors.
  • Monitor performance, report deviations, and address poor workmanship or resource issues.
  • Ensure competence and compliance of all site personnel.

5. Manage ASP (Approved Service Provider) Staff

  • Conduct theoretical and practical assessments, training, and licensing for ASP personnel.
  • Maintain training and certification records in line with company and local requirements.

6. Oversee Workmanship Quality

  • Conduct site audits, compile reports in QAS database, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Analyze recurring faults and recommend process improvements.

7. Perform Field Surveys and Design Support

  • Conduct on-site design validation and produce field reports.
  • Support creation of design drawings, installation documentation, and As-Built updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in telecom site implementation, installation, or commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS standards, site documentation, and telecom equipment setup.
  • Experience in RAN, transmission, or microwave network rollout is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with hands-on site management experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php51,390.00 per month
