JOB OBJECTIVE:

Provides legal guidance and support to the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provides legal advice and support to the management on relevant legal issues

· Assists in developing and implementing proactive legal strategies and policies

· Drafts pleadings necessary to any case that will be filed in court

· Represents the company on litigation, legal proceedings and court appearances

· Manages disputes and litigation matters and develops effective strategies to resolve legal issues and protect the

company's rights.

· Drafts and reviews contracts, legal documents, agreements and notices.

· Helps manage the legal budget.

· Stays up to date with changes to legislations in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect the

business of the company.

· Conducts legal research to stay updated on relevant laws, precedents and legal trends.

· Attends the Management Committee Meeting, Executive Committee Meeting, and other internal/external meetings

· Performs other functions and duties that may be assigned by the Immediate Superior from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

· Bar Exam Passer and registered with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in good standing

· With at least 2 years in practice of law, preferably with experience as legal counsel in a financing or collection

industry

· At least 1 year of litigation experience

· Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate laws and procedures

· With highly developed leadership skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and decision-making skills

· Has excellent research, writing and communications skills

· With high level of integrity and professional ethics

· Computer proficient
