Position Overview

The Accountant (Officer/Manager Level) will lead in providing end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, billing and tax compliance services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Bookkeeping & Client Accounting


• Maintain accurate books of accounts for assigned client portfolios.


• Record daily financial transactions and update ledgers.


• Perform bank reconciliation and verify supporting documents.


• Assist in preparing monthly financial schedules and basic financial statements.

  1. Tax Compliance


• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (VAT, EWT, Percentage Tax, Income Tax).


• Ensure all tax filings and payments for clients are submitted on time.


• Prepare tax schedules, attachments, and documentation for BIR requirements.


• Assist in responding to BIR notices and audit requests under supervision.

  1. Payroll Processing


• Assist in payroll computation, statutory deductions, and government remittances.


• Prepare payroll reports and maintain accurate employee payroll records for clients.


• Coordinate with clients for employee updates and payroll adjustments.

  1. Account Management


• Help manage assigned client accounts and ensure all deliverables are tracked and completed.


• Communicate with clients for document requests, deadlines, and clarifications.


• Maintain organized, updated, and complete client files (digital and physical).


• Provide timely updates to Senior Accountants regarding client concerns or pending items.

  1. Administrative & Support Tasks


• Assist senior accountants in auditing financial data, preparing reports, and special compliance tasks.


• Support team members during peak tax seasons and deadlines.


• Perform other related tasks assigned by leaders.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.


• Open to fresh graduates; OJT or internship experience is a plus.


• Basic understanding of accounting principles and Philippine taxation.


• Knowledgeable in client account handling or client coordination.


• Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting tools or ERP systems.


• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and willingness to learn.


• Good communication and organizational skills.
