What we're looking for
The Learning & Development Supervisor holds a key strategic position in cultivating the organization's people and culture. This role is responsible for directing the development and delivery of comprehensive programs, including leadership development, learning frameworks, employee engagement, health and wellness compliance, performance management, and culture-building. The Supervisor will partner with senior leadership to guarantee all programs and interventions support the company's objectives and core values.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the People Development budget and ensure cost-effective deployment of training and development resources.
- Maintain strategic partnerships with learning providers and consultants, negotiating favorable terms to maximize ROI.
- Ensure training and OD interventions align with the business strategy and contribute to organizational performance.
- Oversee and ensure the L&D cycle addresses critical capability gaps.
- Evaluate and recommend learning technologies, tools, or platforms to support scale and cost-efficiency in learning delivery.
- Spearhead the planning and oversee execution of engagement programs (e.g., Christmas party, General Assembly, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and similar events).
- Collaborate with teams and leaders to assess engagement needs and incorporate creative, inclusive activities that build morale.
- Oversee collection of feedback and measure satisfaction/impact post implementation, using data to iterate and enhance future events.
- Lead, in partnership with the CEO, the design, planning, execution, and monitoring of culture-building campaigns and rituals to reinforce company values.
- Track post-implementation outcomes and culture sentiment data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Formulate and maintain the company-wide competency matrix
- Use the competency matrix as the basis for TNAs, L&D initiatives, performance reviews, and career development plans.
- Collaborate with the HR Head and leadership team in managing organizational changes (restructuring, system changes, culture shifts, etc.).
- Lead OD interventions such as focus group discussions, diagnostic assessments, and change readiness sessions.
- Oversee implementation of the Performance Management System ensuring timely submission of KPIs and performance appraisals.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers in setting KPIs, clarifying job deliverables, and defining value contributions.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all health-related DOLE compliance reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- In partnership with the Occupational Health Nurse, plan and supervise health and wellness programs that promote employee well-being and productivity.
Educational Background and Work Experience:
- Degree in Human Resource Development, Psychology, or Behavioral Science course
- Minimum of 5 years experience in learning and development, performance management, employee engagement, and organizational development
- At least 2 - 3 years in a supervisory role
- Work experience in an HRBP capacity is ideal.
- Work involvement in OD is ideal.

- Performance Management: Oversees KPI setting, tracking, and supports managers in effective appraisals.
- Project and Event Management: Plans, organizes, and delivers learning programs and engagement events.
- Budget and Vendor Management: Manages financials and partnerships to ensure cost-effective delivery.
