Website Administrator & UX/UI Designer

About the Role

We're seeking a dynamic Website Administrator & UX/UI Designer to manage, design, and continually enhance the user experience across our clients' digital properties. In this hybrid role, you'll be responsible for maintaining over a dozen brand websites—including resort, restaurant, e-commerce, and real estate education platforms—ensuring every interaction is cohesive, intuitive, and visually on-brand.

You will play a key role in both technical execution and creative design. From WordPress administration and UX research to UI design and prototyping, this role will require you to collaborate with marketing, operations, and design teams to deliver beautiful, high-performing digital experiences while maintaining brand consistency across all CDV divisions.

You'll also be responsible for managing cross-channel digital communications—emails, SMS, and push notifications—via Metasphere, ensuring a seamless experience across web, app, and CRM platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Website Maintenance, Design & UX/UI Development

  • Manage, update, and troubleshoot all WordPress websites across CDV brands (resorts, e-commerce, restaurant, and educational platforms).
  • Plan and execute UX/UI improvements to optimize user flows, conversions, and accessibility for both desktop and mobile.
  • Design new website pages, layouts, and components in Figma or Adobe XD, and coordinate or implement them in WordPress.
  • Develop and refine design systems and style guides to ensure consistent branding across all web and app properties.
  • Conduct user journey mapping, wireframing, and A/B testing to improve engagement and conversions.
  • Implement responsive, conversion-optimized templates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (ACF/React blocks, Gutenberg).
  • Collaborate with developers and marketers to turn business goals into seamless, user-friendly digital experiences.
  • Maintain hosting, DNS, SSL, backups, and version control (Git).

Content, Branding & CMS Management

  • Publish and QA all content (blogs, menus, event updates, products, resort pages), ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and page templates for design flexibility and scalability.
  • Apply accessibility best practices and ensure compliance with AODA/WCAG guidelines.
  • Optimize SEO through metadata, structured data, and site architecture.

UX Research & Conversion Optimization

  • Analyze user behavior via Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, and Search Console to identify usability pain points.
  • Conduct heuristic evaluations and recommend UX/UI refinements to improve engagement and reduce friction.
  • Partner with marketing teams on CRO experiments, landing page tests, and customer feedback loops.
  • Continuously optimize checkout, booking, and form flows to drive higher conversions.

Email, SMS & Push Notification Management (Metasphere)

  • Build and schedule campaigns for Dream Trip Rewards and related loyalty programs.
  • Design responsive, visually consistent HTML templates for emails and app push notifications.
  • Create segment-based automation flows and behavioral triggers to improve engagement.
  • QA all messages for design fidelity, load time, and device compatibility.

Collaboration & Support

  • Manage support tickets and troubleshoot web or UX issues quickly and accurately.
  • Work with internal creative and resort teams on campaigns, launches, and user journey enhancements.
  • Document UI components, layouts, and style standards to ensure multi-brand consistency.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience managing and designing WordPress-based websites.
  • Proven UX/UI design portfolio showcasing user-centered design and responsive web layouts.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Understanding of user research, prototyping, information architecture, and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with Metasphere, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or ClickFunnels for automation and email design.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, GA4, and conversion optimization.
  • Ability to manage multiple brand environments while ensuring cohesive digital experiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with WooCommerce, Shopify, or multi-site e-commerce ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with hospitality, real estate, or e-learning UX patterns.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles.
  • Experience conducting usability testing sessions and iterating based on insights.
  • Understanding of UI animation/micro-interaction design using tools like Framer Motion or similar.
