Role Overview:
The Brand & Channel Development Representative is responsible for growing awareness, adoption, and sales of Varia, ACME, and Roest through direct sales, strategic partnerships, and alternative channels. This role focuses on brand-building and smart distribution — placing the right products in the right spaces to drive long-term traction.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Growth & Visibility
- Act as the primary brand ambassador for Varia, ACME, and Roest.
- Drive brand exposure through showroom displays, demos, events, and curated placements.
- Ensure brand standards and storytelling are upheld across all touchpoints.
Channel & Partnership Development
- Identify and onboard consignees, resellers, and strategic partners (e.g., high-end furniture stores, lifestyle shops, specialty retailers).
- Propose and manage consignment or reseller arrangements in coordination with management.
- Support partners with product knowledge, merchandising guidelines, and sales enablement tools.
Sales & Commercial Execution
- Drive revenue through direct sales, cross-selling, upselling, and partner channels.
- Handle inbound inquiries and guide customers through the buying journey.
- Conduct product demos, trainings, and in-store activations for partners and clients.
Community & Market Engagement:
- Actively seek opportunities within the coffee, design, and hospitality communities to showcase assigned brands.
- Represent the brands at events, pop-ups, trade shows, and partner activations.
Product Expertise & Feedback
- Maintain strong knowledge of product features, positioning, pricing, and competitors.
- Gather market and partner feedback and relay insights to sales, marketing, and leadership.
Reporting & Accountability
- Track leads, partners, and sales performance in CRM.
- Contribute to weekly scorecards covering outreach, placements, demos, and sales impact.
- Provide regular updates on channel performance and brand traction.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales, brand, business development, or partnerships.
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable engaging both commercial and lifestyle/design partners.
- Passion for specialty coffee, equipment, or premium consumer goods.
