PRIMARY PURPOSE:

A Construction Project Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction on projects to ensure they are completed within budget and to the required quality standards. This role bridges the gap between the technical and managerial aspects of construction on projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop detailed project plans and designs.
  • Ensure that project plans comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Monitor project expenses to ensure financial feasibility.
  • Develop project schedules and timelines.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Oversee construction activities on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Optimize project efficiency through effective resource management.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Address any issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Provide a solution to technical and logistical challenges.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation. o Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders.

EDUCATION, TECHNICAL CAPABILITY, AND CAREER:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction project management or engineering.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects across sectors (infrastructure, buildings, and industrial facilities)
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Php27, Php30,000.00 per month
