1. Project Planning & Coordination

  • Review and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and specifications.

2. Site Supervision

  • Supervise and monitor all electrical works to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, grounding, fire alarm, communication, and control systems.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to project schedules.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials and completion of work.

3. Quality, Safety, and Compliance

  • Ensure all electrical works comply with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and client specifications.
  • Participate in quality assurance and control inspections.
  • Implement proper safety measures and ensure compliance with company and government safety regulations.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare progress reports, inspection checklists, testing and commissioning documents, and punch lists.
  • Maintain updated records of electrical drawings, revisions, and site documentation.
  • Support project handover, turnover documentation, and client acceptance activities.

5. Technical Support

  • Provide engineering support and solutions to technical issues encountered on-site.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for electrical system problems.
  • Attend project meetings and present updates on electrical works progress.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to ensure proper integration of electrical systems.
  • Prepare electrical design layouts, shop drawings, and as-built plans.
  • Develop material take-offs, cost estimates, and technical submittals for client approval.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • License: Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
  • Knowledge of Philippine Electrical Code and construction safety standards.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Other Requirements: Willing to be assigned to project sites as required.
