Position: Assistant Project Engineer for Construction

Work setup & Shift: Onsite | Night Shift

Site: 6F 1880 Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City

Salary: Up to 50K package

Job Responsibilities
Assistant Project Engineer will assist construction teams with the various administrative tasks for construction projects. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Processing and tracking Request for Information forms.
  • Obtaining and processing Submittals.
  • Managing the Material lead item logs.
  • Processing change orders.
  • Processing billings.
  • Updating plans with changed documents.
  • Assisting the project team with other tasks is required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or similar degree
  • Working knowledge of construction terms
  • Able to read construction plans, specifications, and other technical documents related to building construction.
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills.
  • Computer literate and able to use Microsoft office suite of products and be able to learn other construction related software. (No programming is required)
  • Familiar with Imperial measurement system

Competencies/Personality Traits

  • After some training, the candidate will be able to work independently.
  • Be comfortable making phone calls and conversing in English with multiple personnel
  • Self starter and accurate with work
  • Dependable
  • Truthful, be able to speak truth to supervisor.

Prior Experience
The ideal candidate will have worked in a technical capacity in the construction industry for
2+ years
and be familiar with technical aspects of construction. This can be as a project engineer, assistant project manager, project manager, estimator, etc. for construction companies
