Roving Auditor/Merchandiser

This role involves visiting multiple retail locations to ensure product visibility, display compliance, and accurate inventory levels. They will act as the frontline ambassador of our brand at retail outlets and play a key role in collecting insights to help drive sell-out performance and ensuring that our merchandising standards are consistently met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Inventory Checking & Stock Monitoring

  2. Perform regular physical inventory checks and compare against system records (actual vs. system).

  3. Identify and report stock discrepancies or potential losses.
  4. Monitor stock availability and coordinate with relevant teams to avoid out-of-stock (OOS) situations.

  5. Recommend replenishment actions based on sell-through trends.

  6. Sell-Out Monitoring

  7. Track product sell-out performance at the store level through discussions with store staff

  8. and internal reports.
  9. Identify fast-moving and slow-moving items.

  10. Provide feedback on factors affecting sales, such as display visibility, product awareness, or competitor activity.

  11. Display Execution & Guideline Compliance

  12. Ensure all product displays are aligned with brand and trade marketing guidelines.

  13. Implement promotional materials and ensure visibility of campaign-related assets.

  14. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock rotation on shelves and display units.

  15. Shopper and Store Staff Engagement (nice to have)

  16. Engage with Watsons store staff to gather qualitative insights on shopper preferences, frequently asked questions, and product reception.

  17. Share shopper feedback and staff observations with the internal team to support strategic decision-making.

  18. Reporting

  19. Submit timely and accurate store visit reports, including inventory levels, photos of displays, compliance checks, and feedback from store staff.

  20. Highlight urgent concerns such as OOS, poor visibility, or competitor threats.
