Project Manager – Access Control Systems

Position Overview:
Compensation and Benefits:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage access control system installation projects from kickoff through close-out.
  • Review and interpret CAD drawings and system schematics to guide project planning and execution.
  • Act as the liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery.
  • Conduct site walks, verify installation progress, and resolve field-level issues as they arise.
  • Assist in preparing and updating project documentation, submittals, and as-builts.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and task assignments using project management tools.
  • Ensure projects comply with customer requirements, building codes, and internal standards.
  • Identify scope changes or risks and escalate when appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in physical security, low-voltage systems, or related technical project management roles.
  • Familiarity with access control hardware, cabling standards, and basic networking concepts.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting CAD files (AutoCAD preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience using project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Lenel, AMAG, Genetec, or similar access control platforms.
  • Basic CAD drafting skills or the ability to make minor edits to drawings.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent safety training.
