Job Description

As an Arbitration Specialist, you'll handle thorough insurance verifications, perform data collection from insurance providers, and maintain accurate records with speed and precision. You'll work onsite with a dedicated team that values professionalism, clarity, and compassion - ensuring healthcare operations run smoothly from claim to resolution.

The Qualifications We Seek

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of experience in insurance verifications

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with insurance verification processes and healthcare terminology

Other Requirements

  • Must maintain a professional appearance
  • Must report to work regularly and consistently

Your Daily Tasks

  • Conduct aggressive follow-ups to collect data from insurance companies
  • Perform thorough insurance verifications with solid understanding of processes and protocols
  • Manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Enter and maintain data accurately (minimum 40 WPM typing speed with 90% accuracy)
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Navigate and utilize multiple insurance portals efficiently
  • Handle multiple assignments and projects under tight deadlines
  • Apply medical terminology knowledge in daily operations
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Organize information effectively and demonstrate strong self-direction
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned
