The Environmental Officer ensures the company's compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and standards while supporting sustainability initiatives. The role is responsible for monitoring, implementing, and improving environmental programs to minimize environmental risks and impacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor compliance with environmental standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop, implement, and update environmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, auditors, and local Pollution Control Officers.
  • Support ESG assurance activities, including audits, reviews, and data reporting.
  • Prepare environmental performance reports and recommend improvement measures.
  • Provide guidance to projects to ensure alignment with sustainability and compliance requirements.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in pollution prevention and control.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, ESG standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Experience in environmental audits, impact assessments, or compliance monitoring is an advantage.
  • Willing to report in BGC, Taguig and travel nationwide (plant visits) as needed.
