Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all local and national tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax, withholding tax, etc.).
  • Coordinate with BIR and other government agencies for compliance, audits, and updates.
  • Monitor compliance with statutory laws and internal policies.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on tax liabilities, government filings, and compliance status.
  • Manage business permit renewals, LGU registrations, and other regulatory submissions.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for external auditors and regulatory inspections.
  • Conduct periodic compliance reviews and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, compliance regulations, and industry standards.
  • Support the Finance Team in month-end closings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or experience in tax compliance is highly preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in tax, audit, or regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of BIR processes, Philippine tax laws, and regulatory frameworks.
  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent organizational skills.
