Safety Officer and Contracts Admin
, you'll help ensure compliance with Australian WHS legislation by supporting Principal Contractor obligations through remote compliance management.

What you'll work on

  • Manage Principal Contractor HSEQ compliance remotely (WHS plans, risk assessments, emergency procedures)
  • Review contracts and scopes to enforce compliance obligations
  • Prequalify and monitor subcontractors, ensuring documentation and inductions are complete
  • Implement remote site verification (photos, videos, checklists, sign-offs)
  • Manage incidents, risks, and non-conformances, escalating high-risk issues
  • Maintain contract administration, compliance registers, and audit-ready records
  • Coordinate remote inductions, training, and communication of compliance updates
  • Provide regular reports and recommend process improvements

What we're looking for

  • Experience in HSEQ, safety compliance, contract administration, or documentation control
  • Knowledge of Australian WHS regulations and Principal Contractor requirements preferred
  • Strong written/verbal communication, attention to detail, and record-keeping skills
  • Proactive, organised, and confident in enforcing compliance and escalating risks
  • Comfortable using digital systems for compliance management
  • Experience in fire protection, safety, construction, or compliance industries preferred
  • Ready to start as soon as possible
