JOB SUMMARY

The HR Employee Relations Specialist will be in charge of company Employee Relations activities. This role is responsible primarily in addressing employee issues and concerns, assisting with labor relations programs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. The HR Employee Relations Specialist will work closely with the management and employees to foster a positive and productive work environment

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  • Ensure the company is aligned with the company's core values and in compliance with all employees' legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Facilitate review and updating of company policies and guidelines, including policy interpretation and compliance.

  • Spearhead case investigations, prepare documentation and recommendation for corrective/disciplinary actions, facilitation of administrative hearings.

  • Stay up to date on most recent changes in employment and labor laws, compliance issues and external labor relations climate.

  • Communicate directives from DOLE and other government bodies that are crucial in keeping the organization compliant to changes in employment and labor laws.

  • Lead in conducting employee engagement programs and initiatives to enhance workplace morale, employee work life balance, and retention (sportsfest, employee gatherings, town hall meetings, Christmas party, company outing, etc.).

  • Provide recommendations and reports based on employee concerns and workplace trends.

  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned by superior from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related course/program

Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in Human Resources particularly Employee Relations and or Labor Relations; Has background and knowledge in labor laws and other regulatory compliances

Competencies:

  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, labor laws, and regulations

  • Proven ability to develop and implement employee relations programs

  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Event Coordination

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Willing to be assigned in Lucena City, Quezon
